Assignment Two - EDN113
Research Technologies
I used Zotero as my referencing software whilst researching my topic of photosynthesis this assignment on research technologies. I found Zotero to be easy to use and as I (stupidly) have not yet organised Endnote for my personal laptop I don't think I had much choice but to download Zotero for free and use it for this assignment. Having said that I do think Zotero is a great referencing software and I highly recommend it to those who don't have access to other referencing software that you need to pay for. A free download of Zotero is available at: http://www.zotero.org/support/3.0

I used a few different search engines/library databases to research how technology can be used to assist in teaching photosynthesis in the classroom. Each of these are listed below with their own link:
Google Scholar http://scholar.google.com.au/
Google https://www.google.com.au/
Findit (on the Murdoch Library page) http://library.murdoch.edu.au/
I actually found Google and Google Scholar to be the most useful for this particular subject search which surprised me as I thought that Findit would be more useful. I found books and conference papers were the hardest to search for with this subject but I had a lot of fun exploring the numerous websites, videos and podcasts that my searches found.
